On playing the drums:
"I used to be a stonemason, so I'm used to hitting things with a big hammer, - it was a natural progression to the drums really!!!"

On playing the Blues:
"I love the slow blues numbers, they seem to suit my outlook on life. My body's shot to pieces, you name it, I've either had it, got it, or am about to get it. Kinda gives you the inspiration for playing the blues."

Hobbies:
"In my spare time I collect Ludwig snare drums. I also like turning up early to get the best parking space, reading back issues of 'tom tom weekly', and moaning."
